WNBA Best Bets and Predictions Today

Indiana Fever vs Las Vegas Aces

Indiana Fever +4.5 (-112)

Indiana has already shown it can win in Las Vegas this season. The Fever won both regular-season games there, 84-68 and 109-75, before losing their final regular-season meeting in overtime. They also responded to the Game 1 loss by beating Las Vegas by 10 in Game 2.

Las Vegas winning Game 1 by 17 can't be ignored, but Indiana has won three of the five meetings between these teams this season and playoffs combined. Getting 4.5 points gives Indiana some room in a deciding game that could stay close.

Caitlin Clark 4+ Made Threes (+132)

Clark has taken 21 three-point attempts through the first two games of this series and is averaging four makes per game. After making three in Game 1, she knocked down five in Game 2 as part of her 27-point performance.

The volume is the biggest reason to go back to this market. Clark doesn't need a major change in her role or shot attempts to reach four. She just needs to continue shooting around the level she has through the first two games.

Kelsey Mitchell 25+ Points (-106)

Mitchell scored 26 points in Indiana's Game 2 win after being held to 12 in Game 1. There's also a good regular-season track record against Las Vegas: she scored 27 and 28 points in two of the three meetings this season.
Her scoring has been inconsistent through the first two playoff games, so 25+ isn't a low-risk threshold. But it fits what Mitchell has shown she can do against this matchup and avoids dropping all the way to 20+ at -335.

WNBA Betting -- Frequently Asked Questions

What does the point spread mean in WNBA betting?

The point spread is a margin set by oddsmakers to level the playing field between two unevenly matched teams. For example, if the Dallas Wings are listed at -7.5, they need to win by 8 or more points for a bet on them to cash. Conversely, a bet on their opponent at +7.5 wins if that team loses by 7 or fewer points — or wins outright.

What is the moneyline?

The moneyline is a straight-up bet on which team wins the game, with no spread involved. Favorites carry a negative number (e.g., -200, meaning you must risk $200 to win $100), while underdogs carry a positive number (e.g., +170, meaning a $100 bet returns $170 profit).

How does the over/under (game total) work?

Oddsmakers set a projected combined score for the game, and bettors wager on whether the actual total will go over or under that number. For instance, if the total is set at 154.5 points, an over bet wins if both teams combine for 155 or more points. WNBA totals can swing based on pace of play, rest situations, and injuries, so it's worth tracking those factors before placing a total bet.

What are WNBA player props?

Player props are bets tied to an individual player's statistical performance rather than the game's outcome. Common prop bet markets include points scored, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, and combinations of those stats.
