WNBA Picks Finals Game 7: Dream vs. Valkyries Prediction and Prop Bets

WNBA Game 7 Best Bets at a Glance

  • Golden State Valkyries -1.5 (-110)
  • Angel Reese Over 15.5 Points (+100)
  • Veronica Burton Under 19.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-132)

The 2026 WNBA season comes down to one final game as the Atlanta Dream visit the Golden State Valkyries today for a winner-take-all Game 7.

Atlanta forced the deciding game with an 80-69 victory on Thursday, but Golden State returns home with a chance to win its first championship in franchise history.

The Valkyries are 32-12 overall and 17-5 at home while the Dream enter at 30-14 and 15-7 on the road. The series has also been extremely competitive, with each team winning three games.

Using the WNBA odds at FanDuel Sportsbook, here are the best bets for today’s game.

WNBA Picks Today: Props and Predictions for Game 7

Golden State Valkyries -1.5 (-110)

I'm siding with Golden State to bounce back and win the championship at home.

The Valkyries have been one of the WNBA's best home teams all season, going 17-5 at Chase Center during the regular season. They have also gone 6-2 at home during the playoffs, giving them a significant advantage in a winner-take-all game.

Golden State's offense struggled badly in Game 6, shooting just 35.1% from the field and 7-for-27 from three-point range. That came after the Valkyries had won Games 4 and 5 while holding Atlanta to 62 and 64 points, respectively. Golden State’s offense should shoot better tonight.

The Dream have certainly proven they can win in San Francisco, but Game 7 sets up as a better spot for Golden State. The Valkyries' defense has held Atlanta below 70 points in three of the six games in this series, and the home-court advantage should matter in a game with the championship on the line.

Angel Reese Over 15.5 Points (+100)

Reese's scoring line is attractive after she posted 15 points in Game 6 despite shooting just 5-for-14 from the field.

The bigger reason to like the over is her overall offensive involvement. Reese is averaging 12.1 rebounds per game this season, but she's also shown an ability to contribute as a scorer and passer when Atlanta feeds her inside. She finished Game 6 with 15 points, 14 rebounds and six assists, giving her 35 combined points, rebounds and assists.

Golden State has had trouble keeping Atlanta off the offensive glass throughout the series, and Reese's combination of size and activity gives her opportunities around the basket. If the Valkyries prioritize slowing down Atlanta's perimeter scorers, Reese could see even more offensive responsibility.

She needs only 16 points to cash this prop, and her 15-point Game 6 came while missing nine of her 14 field-goal attempts. A little more efficiency could get her over the number.

Veronica Burton Under 19.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-132)

I'm going in the opposite direction on Burton's PRA combination prop.

Burton has been an important piece of Golden State's backcourt throughout the season, averaging 5.7 assists per game while playing 28.6 minutes per contest. But her offensive role is considerably smaller than that of the Valkyries' primary scoring options.

The 19.5 PRA line also leaves relatively little room for error for her to get to the over. She had 18 PRA in Game 6, and tonight’s Game 7 could turn into a lower-possession, tight slugfest.

The Dream held Golden State to 69 points in Game 6 and have held the Valkyries below 70 points in three of the past four games. With the stakes at their highest and Atlanta likely to continue putting pressure on Golden State's half-court offense, Burton's overall production could remain below this number.

WNBA Betting -- Frequently Asked Questions

What does the point spread mean in WNBA betting?

The point spread is a margin set by oddsmakers to level the playing field between two unevenly matched teams. For example, if the Dallas Wings are listed at -7.5, they need to win by 8 or more points for a bet on them to cash. Conversely, a bet on their opponent at +7.5 wins if that team loses by 7 or fewer points — or wins outright.

What is the moneyline?

The moneyline is a straight-up bet on which team wins the game, with no spread involved. Favorites carry a negative number (e.g., -200, meaning you must risk $200 to win $100), while underdogs carry a positive number (e.g., +170, meaning a $100 bet returns $170 profit).

How does the over/under (game total) work?

Oddsmakers set a projected combined score for the game, and bettors wager on whether the actual total will go over or under that number. For instance, if the total is set at 154.5 points, an over bet wins if both teams combine for 155 or more points. WNBA totals can swing based on pace of play, rest situations, and injuries, so it's worth tracking those factors before placing a total bet.

What are WNBA player props?

Player props are bets tied to an individual player's statistical performance rather than the game's outcome. Common prop bet markets include points scored, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, and combinations of those stats.
