WNBA Best Bets

Las Vegas Aces at Washington Mystics

Under 173.0 (-110)

This game marks the end of a three-game road trip for the Aces and a return home for the Mystics after a 2-2 road trip working back from west to east.

Las Vegas has won both of the prior meetings between the two squads, and both have been recent games.

The Aces won 88-77 (165 total points) in Washington on June 29th and then fell a bucket shy of triple figures during a 98-77 (175 total points) win on July 4th.

Accounting for current health and rotations, my model thinks this game scores an average of 166.5 points -- along the lines of that initial matchup between the two.

Indiana Fever at Minnesota Lynx

Minnesota -6.0 (-108)

Minnesota has been a tough place to play this season, as the Lynx are 10-2 at home on the year with a +9.3 point differential in the split.

Indiana is 4-9 on the road this season with a -8.7 point differential, but they are a team on the rise after a slow start to the season.

Unsurprisingly, Minnesota is a favorite here in the first matchup of the season between the Fever and Lynx.

Once digging into current health and rotations here, it's just hard to understate how good Minnesota has been this season. My model is anticipating a Lynx cover in this spot despite Indiana's improved play of late.

Atlanta Dream at Seattle Storm

Over 154.5 (-110)

Atlanta's overall struggles this season (7-15) have translated to the road (4-7), but that record is tied to a -2.2 point differential, so things could be a bit better record-wise away from home than they actually have been.

Seattle's a different team at home (10-3) than on the road (5-5), but it's the total here that we're keying on.

We haven't seen this matchup yet this season (they play twice in late August), but when projecting this one out in my model, the total looks good.

My model, accounting mostly for Atlanta's absences, thinks this matchup puts up 158.1 points, on average.

Atlanta's road games have a 54.5% over rate, and Seattle is posting 86.3 points per game at home.
