Week 16 NFL Odds: Predictions, Spreads, Moneylines, and Totals for Every Game
This weekend, 16 NFL games span four days, and a lot of playoff positioning is up for grabs.
Here are the NFL betting odds for each game in Week 16. All game predictions via numberFire.
Bengals at Steelers Week 16 Odds
- Cincinnati Bengals Moneyline: -152
- Pittsburgh Steelers Moneyline: +128
- Spread: Bengals (-2.5)
- Total: 37.5
- numberFire Prediction: Bengals (56.2%)
The reeling Steelers play again on Saturday, this time at 4:30 pm Eastern. They have lost three straight games and four of their past five. Mitchell Trubisky has thrown for under 200 yards in every game of extended action this season.
The Bengals, on the other hand, came from behind (trailing 17-3) to beat the Vikings 27-24 in overtime thanks to 324 yards from Jake Browning.
However, in that Week 15 game, superstar wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase sprained his AC joint. He's out this week.
The Steelers will be starting Mason Rudolph at quarterback.
Bills at Chargers Week 16 Odds
- Buffalo Bills Moneyline: -820
- Los Angeles Chargers Moneyline: +570
- Spread: Bills (-12.5)
- Total: 43.5
- numberFire Prediction: Bills (71.8%)
The Chargers will be in a consecutive primetime matchup, this one kicking off on Saturday at 8:00 pm Eastern.
The Chargers were walloped 63-21 on Thursday Night Football in Week 15 by the Raiders. Easton Stick threw for 257 yards in his start in relief of Justin Herbert. Josh Palmer had 113 yards, but the game was out of hand early.
WR Keenan Allen (heel) is out again this week.
Buffalo scored a statement win over the Cowboys in Week 15 to move to 8-6 on the season. They're just 3-6 in one-score games this season, and their +125 point differential suggests their record should be 10.1-3.9.
Colts at Falcons Week 16 Odds
- Indianapolis Colts Moneyline: +116
- Atlanta Falcons Moneyline: -134
- Spread: Falcons (-2.5)
- Total: 44.5
- numberFire Prediction: Falcons (53.9%)
The Colts have won five of their past six games after a mid-season lull and now find themselves with an 8-6 record, including a 5-2 record in one-score games.
Michael Pittman Jr. has led the team in receiving in six straight games but left early in Week 15 due to a concussion. But he practiced in full on Thursday.
The struggling Falcons, who are 2-3 in their past five games and who have lost two straight games, have turned the offense back over to Taylor Heinicke.
Early-week betting trends are favoring the Colts, but the line has reversed to favor the Falcons.
Packers at Panthers Week 16 Odds
- Green Bay Packers Moneyline: -220
- Carolina Panthers Moneyline: +184
- Spread: Packers (-4.5)
- Total: 37.5
- numberFire Prediction: Packers (67.4%)
The Packers have now lost two straight games, including a 14-point loss to the Buccaneers at Lambeau Field. They travel as favorites against the Panthers, who are still fighting and just beat their division rivals, the Falcons, on a last-second field goal.
Green Bay is only 2-5 on the road this season. They have a lot of injuries to sift through, so gameday inactives will be important to monitor.
It's worth noting that the two wins for Carolina this season have come at home.
This is a marquee game for playoff purposes, as Green Bay's 6-8 record now has them with +300 odds to make the NFL playoffs, via FanDuel Sportsbook.
Browns at Texans Week 16 Odds
- Cleveland Browns Moneyline: -154
- Houston Texans Moneyline: +130
- Spread: Browns (-2.5)
- Total: 40.5
- numberFire Prediction: Texans (56.3%)
The Cleveland Browns have pieced together two straight wins to move to 9-5 on the season. However, they still (likely) have to get a wild card berth because of the Ravens' 11-3 record that sits atop the AFC North.
Cleveland is closing out one-score games (they're 6-2 in them), yet their +20 point differential indicates more of a 7.6-win team through this point.
Houston scored a crucial win over the Titans while without quarterback CJ Stroud and receiver Nico Collins in Week 15. In relief of Stroud, Case Keenum threw for 229 yards, and Devin Singletary ran for 121 (with 49 more receiving yards).
The line reversed to the Browns' favor with the expectation that CJ Stroud would miss Week 16's game.
Lions at Vikings Week 16 Odds
- Detroit Lions Moneyline: -152
- Minnesota Vikings Moneyline: +128
- Spread: Lions (-3)
- Total: 47
- numberFire Prediction: Lions (61.7%)
The Vikings blew a sizable 17-3 lead to the Bengals in Week 15, eventually losing in overtime.
Nick Mullens started for the Vikings in that game and threw for 303 yards and 2 touchdowns on 33 attempts (with 2 picks and 3 sacks).
The Lions also played on Saturday in Week 15, and they got the better of the Broncos. Jared Goff threw for five touchdowns, three of which went to tight end Sam LaPorta. Detroit is a road favorite here.
Commanders at Jets Week 16 Odds
- Washington Commanders Moneyline: +138
- New York Jets Moneyline: -164
- Spread: Jets (-3)
- Total: 36.5
- numberFire Prediction: Jets (52.8%)
Both the Commanders and Jets are eliminated from playoff contention.
Washington has lost five straight games and owns a bottom-two point differential of -142 (the same as the 2-12 Panthers' mark).
They benched quarterback Sam Howell in Week 15's loss, yet he remains the team's starter.
Buzz about the Jets centers on the health of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. With the team eliminated from playoff contention, however, we won't be seeing Rodgers in this year's postseason.
Seahawks at Titans Week 16 Odds
- Seattle Seahawks Moneyline: -172
- Tennessee Titans Moneyline: +144
- Spread: Seahawks (-3)
- Total: 41.5
- numberFire Prediction: Titans (50.9%)
The Seahawks will have a short turnaround after a meeting with the Eagles on Monday Night Football in Week 15.
RB Kenneth Walker is dealing with a shoulder injury that had him limited to start the week in practice.
Seattle is expected to turn the offense back over to Geno Smith, who was full in practice on Wednesday.
For the Titans, Week 15 wasn't great.
They lost 19-16 in overtime to the Texans, quarterback Will Levis had a scary injury (that looks to be just a sprained ankle), and the team is officially eliminated from playoff contention. Ryan Tannehill would start if Levis can't play.
Seattle is a road favorite.
Jaguars at Buccaneers Week 16 Odds
- Jacksonville Jaguars Moneyline: +116
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers Moneyline: -136
- Spread: Buccaneers (-2.5)
- Total: 41.5
- numberFire Prediction: Buccaneers (65.9%)
The Jaguars remain atop the AFC South despite just an 8-6 record and a +6 point differential. They are only 2-3 in their past five games, headlined by a three-game losing streak.
The team couldn't get things going against the Ravens in Week 15 on Sunday night, and they lost 23-7. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence is in concussion protocol.
Tampa Bay remains lively at the top of the NFC South with some .500 tendencies. They've got a +6 point differential on the full season, and their 7-7 record is tied to a 3-3 home record, a 4-4 road record, and a 3-4 record in one-score games.
A statement win against the Packers to extend their win streak to three in Week 15 gives them plenty of momentum heading into this crucial matchup for seeding purposes.
Cardinals at Bears Week 16 Odds
- Arizona Cardinals Moneyline: +176
- Chicago Bears Moneyline: -210
- Spread: Bears (-4.5)
- Total: 43
- numberFire Prediction: Bears (63.6%)
The Cardinals (3-11) are eliminated from playoff contention, but even with the Bears at 5-9, they're alive.
They've had bad luck in one-score games (2-5), and they recorded another close loss in Week 15 after Darnell Mooney couldn't reel in a deflected Hail Mary attempt.
The spread and moneyline indicates an expected win for Chicago this week.
Cowboys at Dolphins Week 16 Odds
- Dallas Cowboys Moneyline: -102
- Miami Dolphins Moneyline: -116
- Spread: Dolphins (-1.5)
- Total: 50.5
- numberFire Prediction: Dolphins (64.1%)
The Cowboys have had just three one-score games (tied with San Francisco for the fewest), and Miami's five one-score games are tied for third-fewest (with the Cardinals).
This game, though, should add another tally for each side, given the 1.5-point spread.
Dallas needs to bounce back after getting creamed 31-10 by the Bills on the road.
Miami is hot off of a 30-0 drubbing of the Jets even without superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
Both Hill and RB De'Von Achane are expected to play.
Patriots at Broncos Week 16 Odds
- New England Patriots Moneyline: +265
- Denver Broncos Moneyline: -330
- Spread: Broncos (-6.5)
- Total: 34.5
- numberFire Prediction: Broncos (72.6%)
The Patriots and Broncos square up at 8:15 pm Eastern on Christmas Eve, which may not be the most glamorous Sunday Night Football matchup imaginable.
With that said, the Patriots continue to play hard, and the Broncos remain alive in the playoff race with their 7-7 record.
They'll need to bounce back after a critical loss to the Lions in Week 15. This one should be low-scoring -- but potentially close.
Raiders at Chiefs Week 16 Odds
- Las Vegas Raiders Moneyline: +385
- Kansas City Chiefs Moneyline: -500
- Spread: Chiefs (-10)
- Total: 40.5
- numberFire Prediction: Chiefs (70.0%)
An AFC West matchup kicks off the Christmas Day NFL festivities at 1:00 pm Eastern. The Raiders are coming off of a dominant 63-21 win over the Chargers on Thursday, so they'll have the rest advantage in this matchup -- but the spread suggests that won't matter much.
The Chiefs won the first matchup in this series by a score of 31-17, though they needed a 14-point comeback to do so after getting off to a slow start.
A Week 15 win over New England now has the Chiefs at 9-5 for the year with great odds to clinch the AFC West.
Key injuries to monitor in this matchup include Josh Jacobs for the Raiders and Jerick McKinnon and Kadarius Toney for the Chiefs.
Giants at Eagles Week 16 Odds
- New York Giants Moneyline: +610
- Philadelphia Eagles Moneyline: -900
- Spread: Eagles (-13.5)
- Total: 43
- numberFire Prediction: Eagles (83.5%)
We've got an NFC East matchup on Christmas Day at 4:30 pm Eastern.
The 5-9 Giants hold a league-worst -149 point differential, a mark that suggest they should have just 2.8 wins based on historical distributions.
The Eagles are in the thick of the NFC East race, and every game will matter here on out with regards to seeding at the top of the conference.
The spread has moved noticeably toward the Eagles throughout the week even after their Monday Night Football loss to the Seahawks, their third straight defeat.
Ravens at 49ers Week 16 Odds
- Baltimore Ravens Moneyline: +190
- San Francisco 49ers Moneyline: -230
- Spread: 49ers (-5.5)
- Total: 46.5
- numberFire Prediction: 49ers (65.9%)
The Christmas Day slate closes out with the two teams holding the 1 seed in their respective conferences.
The Ravens have a great 6-1 road record and are on a four-game winning streak. Lamar Jackson has led the team in rushing in two straight games (70 and 97 yards).
Wide receiver Zay Flowers (foot) isn't 100% entering this game, so we'll need to track updates surrounding his health.
The 49ers remain dominant and have a league-best +191 point differential, which is tied to a six-game winning streak. They've played in only three one-score games this season, tied for the fewest in the NFL.
