Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk: Odds, How to Watch Undisputed Heavyweight Title Bout

At long last, the boxing world will be treated to a highly anticipated heavyweight clash for all the belts.

It appears no postponement will stop the show this time around, and with that, this Saturday brings together fellow undefeated boxers Tyson "The Gypsy King" Fury (34-0-1, 24 KO) and Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KO) to decide undisputed champion status at heavyweight.

Billed as the Ring Of Fire, this event will be hosted at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Fury-Usyk is the main event of a 10-match fight card. Notably, this headliner will be the first undisputed heavyweight title bout in the four-belt era.

Fight night (May 18th) is on the horizon, so let's dive into all Fury-Usyk betting information, how to watch, fighter history, and full card details.

Currently, FanDuel Sportsbook has the moneylines here priced quite closely.

Fighter History

Tyson Fury

Listed as a short favorite (-126 moneyline odds), Tyson Fury is finally ready for this marquee clash with Usyk.

Notably, the Englishman suffered a setback last October after edging out a split-decision win versus Francis Ngannou in the latter's boxing debut, incidentally pushing back this fight from February to its current date. According to CompuBox, the UFCer outlanded Fury in power punches that night, 37 to 32.

Fury was visibly sluggish his last time out, and even though Usyk does not have Ngannou's complete punching strength, The Gyspy King will be in a rough spot this weekend if he presents similar preparation. Even still, Fury will be operating with a considerable size advantage.

The tale of the tape measures Fury at a towering 6-foot-9. From there, Fury has an 85-inch reach. On Saturday, he puts his WBC heavyweight strap on the line against a much-smaller (but fiercely skilled) Usyk. Either way, ESPN has Fury as their No. 9 pound-for-pound fighter.

When Fury enters the ring in top form, he is nearly impossible to deal with. The Manchester native moves incredibly smooth -- especially for being a near giant. He uses slick footwork in combination with timely feints to keep his opponents off-balanced. When it comes to Saturday, it will be interesting to see how Fury approaches his first left-handed fighter in nearly five years.

Oleksandr Usyk

Oleksandr Usyk is currently the IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion of the world. At the age of 37 (and two years Fury's senior), Usyk is still on top of his game. His past three fights feature two full-time wins over Anthony Joshua along with a stoppage victory against Daniel Dubois -- all much taller men than Usyk.

A national hero in Ukraine, Usyk stands at 6-foot-3 with a reach of 78 inches. As noted, Usyk gives up noticeable length to Fury. Still, the southpaw Usyk is ultra precise with his ring generalship; he'll present a unique look for his gargantuan opponent from Great Britain.

Since 2019, Usyk has made the transition from cruiserweight -- where he was undisputed champion -- to heavyweight in prolific fashion, often drawing comparisons to Boxing Hall-of-Famer Evander Holyfield. Right now, Usyk finds himself placed third overall on multiple respected pound-for-pound lists, such as ESPN, The Ring magazine and the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board.

FanDuel Sportsbook labels Usyk as a narrow underdog: +104 odds (49% implied probability). Additionally, oddsmakers are expecting this titanic showdown to go the distance as the bout shows a -196 price tag to complete all 12 rounds. In the "Method of Victory" category, Usyk by points or decision has the shortest listing at two-to-one odds.

The Ukrainian will need to work hyper-tactically when taking on Fury. Still, this matchup really does appear headed for deep water. If you have a lean, consider taking that fighter on points/decision.
