Shams Charania Expects the Boston Celtics to Target this in the Trade Market
The Boston Celtics are currently the favorites to win the NBA Finals on FanDuel Sportsbook at +370, but the team's loss to the Indiana Pacers in the quarterfinals of the in-season tournament exposed a weakness they'll look to address.
The Celtics were outscored 19-9 last 2:21 of the game and the bench's 21 points couldn't match the 33 scored by the Pacers' second unit in the loss.
On Tuesday's episode of Run It Back, NBA insider Shams Charania highlighted both the team's lack of scoring late in the game and difficulty finding production from the bench as his main concern for the Celtics, both of which he expects them to address through the trade market.
Below is the clip discussed above:
"I expect the Celtics to be active in the trade market as we get closer to February, to try to see if they can beef up their bench rotation."@ShamsCharania's biggest concern for the Celtics is late game execution, what kind of player are they missing? 🤔
