Newcastle at Tottenham (Sat, 12:30 p.m. ET)

I'm not ready to trust either side on the moneyline, but this matchup looks much more attractive from a goals perspective.

Tottenham's Premier League debut under Roberto De Zerbi couldn't have gone much worse, as Spurs were beaten 3-0 by Brentford. They responded in the EFL Cup with a 5-1 victory over Charlton, with new signing Savio contributing a goal and an assist.

Newcastle's opener was extremely entertaining. The Magpies scored twice on the counter against Liverpool and led late before eventually settling for a 2-2 draw.

The defensive concerns are significant on both sides. Tottenham conceded 57 goals in 38 Premier League matches last season while Newcastle allowed 55. We have already seen seven total goals across their two league matches this season, and both clubs have enough attacking talent to punish the other's defensive weaknesses.

Brighton at Chelsea (Sun, 9 a.m. ET)

Chelsea and Brighton were two of the most impressive attacking teams on the opening weekend.

Chelsea opened Xabi Alonso's tenure with a 3-2 victory at Fulham, with Cole Palmer recording a goal and an assist. Brighton were even more explosive, putting four goals past Aston Villa in a 4-0 victory.

That offensive production isn't completely out of nowhere. Chelsea scored 58 Premier League goals last season while Brighton produced 52. Chelsea's opener also showed that Alonso's more aggressive approach could leave them vulnerable defensively as Fulham managed to score twice despite losing the match.

Brighton should have opportunities — even at Stamford Bridge — while asking them to keep Palmer, Joao Pedro, Morgan Rogers, and the rest of Chelsea's attack off the scoresheet feels ambitious. I’m backing both attacks.
