    • Over: -178
    • Under: +144

The Arizona Cardinals are bringing back the same trio they had in 2023 when they finished 4-13 at the bottom of the NFC West: Jonathan Gannon (head coach), Drew Petzing (offensive coordinator), and Nick Rallis (defensive coordinator).

Via numberFire's metrics, the Cardinals did have the most efficient rushing offense in the NFL -- but also the league's worst overall defense -- once adjusting for opponents faced.

Los Angeles Rams

  • 2024 Win Total: 8.5
    • Over: -144
    • Under: +118

Anthony Weaver will look to continue defensive success in his first year as DC. Miami was 12th in adjusted defense last season. He spent the last three seasons with the Ravens' defensive line and the last two there as the associate head coach.

Alex Van Pelt spent the last four seasons as the Browns' offensive coordinator. Their offense ranked 28th in adjusted efficiency last season; the Patriots were 31st.

DeMarcus Covington has been with the team since 2017 and was the defensive line coach from 2020 to 2023. He is now the defensive coordinator after the team posted the best adjusted rushing efficiency numbers of any squad in 2023.

Jim Schwartz led the defense to the top overall adjusted efficiency metrics in the NFL in 2023, his first in the role with the team.

Cleveland was 28th offensively, however, and Ken Dorsey will look to turn things around in his first season as OC. Dorsey was the OC for the Bills in 2022 and 2023.

    • Over: -150
    • Under: +122

DeMeco Ryans (head coach), Bobby Slowik (offensive coordinator), and Matt Burke (defensive coordinator) all return after strong debuts in 2023.

The Houston Texans were 10-7 last season and made the playoffs.

Indianapolis Colts

  • 2024 Win Total: 8.5

But Luke Getsy transitions to the OC role after spending the last two seasons with the Bears in the same capacity. The Bears were 5th in adjusted rushing but 25th in adjusted passing in 2023.

Los Angeles Chargers

  • 2024 Win Total: 8.5
    • Over: -144
    • Under: +118

In a high-profile hiring, the Los Angeles Chargers brought in Jim Harbaugh to lead the team in 2024 and beyond.

Harbaugh led the 49ers to a 44-19-1 (69.5%) record from 2011 to 2013. No active coach has a better career NFL winning percentage.

His offensive coordinator will be Greg Roman, who held that role for the Ravens for the last four seasons.

Jesse Minter follows Harbaugh from Michigan, where Minter was the DC for the last two seasons. Michigan was first in defensive SP+ last season.
