NFL Betting: Anytime Touchdown Scorer Props for the Conference Championships

Championship Sunday is just a couple days away, and with two booming clashes on the horizon, there is no better time to get in on the action at FanDuel Sportsbook.

In the AFC title bid, the Baltimore Ravens are hosting the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. Later in the afternoon, we'll see the Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers to decide NFC supremacy.

Naturally, a touchdown is one of the most thrilling actions in all of sports. Of course, that excitement is amplified when a player you're backing finds the end zone. Genuinely, there's nothing quite like hitting an Anytime TD wager.

Utilizing numberFire's projections as a guide, here are some Anytime Touchdown Scorer props for Championship Sunday that look appealing.

All betting numbers come from the NFL odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

NFL Championship Sunday Betting

Travis Kelce Anytime TD Scorer (+120)

The multiple touchdowns from Travis Kelce last weekend broke the internet. Did his big brother's shirtless antics draw heightened attention to it? Absolutely. Still, No. 87 finding the end zone is right on par with this time of year.

In terms of touchdown production, the Cincinnati Bearcats alum did not have his best campaign. Through 15 contests in this season, he scored in five games, leaving Kelce with a 33.3% success rate for this market. That is not a jaw-dropping figure, but when it comes to the playoffs, Kelce usually does not miss.

With Patrick Mahomes as starting signal-caller, Kelce has appeared in 16 playoff games. In that time, the All-Pro tight end has grabbed 17 touchdown receptions. Through five career AFC championships, Killa Trav has churned out a total of five scores.

Kelce is unquestionably the most trusted target of Mahomes. With the season in jeopardy, I'd imagine Mahomes looks for his tight end early and often -- especially in the red zone (team-high 121 regular-season RZ targets).

George Kittle Anytime TD Scorer (+130)

Fresh off a scoring a touchdown in the Divisional Round, 49ers tight end George Kittle is champing at the bit for more. The Iowa Hawkeyes alum is a thoroughly complete football player, and his +130 odds to find the end zone at any point in the NFC title game have caught my eye.

Including postseason, Kittle has attracted 97 targets in 2023, which is second-highest on the team. From that, he has scored 7 touchdowns in 17 total games.

This Sunday, Kittle will likely draw favorable matchups versus the Lions. Through the recent regular season, Detroit allowed the most yards per passing attempt in the NFC. Additionally, the Honolulu-blue bunch surrendered 28 passing touchdowns in 2023 -- sixth-most on the year.

Given Kittle's size, strength and athleticism, I'm not sure the Lions have a defender that can deal with him one-on-one. On Sunday, I am looking for "The People's Tight End" to break through the goal line with the football.

Jahmyr Gibbs Anytime TD Scorer (+145)

Staying with the NFC Championship, Detroit running back Jahmyr Gibbs presents intriguing value in this TD scorer market. As one of two OROY finalists for the Lions, the rookie from the Alabama Crimson Tide runs with speed and physicality. Additionally, Gibbs is more than serviceable in the passing game.

Despite splitting touches with veteran tailback David Montgomery, Gibbs managed to find the end zone on 11 occasions in his first NFL regular season. He has consistently flashed big-play ability; he ranked second in the league for rushes of 20 or more yards.

Being a rook, Gibbs has only played in two postseason bids throughout his short career. Still, the dynamic tailback has scored in each of those contests. At FanDuel Sportsbook, Gibbs is listed with +145 odds to produce a touchdown for his fourth consecutive game.

Gibbs has brought back the fourth-most anytime TD-scorer tickets at FanDuel Sportsbook for this weekend. If you were wondering who has returned the most bets here, that would be Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (currently yielding +100 odds to score).

For a final note, the Lions operate with one of the top offensive lines in the league. Right tackle Penei Sewell and center Frank Ragnow both earned All-Pro honors this past season. Additionally, gargantuan (6-foot-7) left tackle Taylor Decker is a high-quality player. Gibbs should have an advantage running behind this big unit when taking on San Francisco's 17th-ranked run defense (according to numberFire).
