NBA Prop Bets for Today: Best NBA Props
Donovan Mitchell Under 4.5 Assists (+116)
Cavaliers at 76ers, 7:10 p.m. ET
Donovan Mitchell - Assists
Last year’s mid-season arrival of James Harden has given Donovan Mitchell another high-level creator alongside him, and that makes Mitchell's assist under appealing at plus money.
Mitchell averaged 4.8 assists per game last season, so this number sits right around his typical production. More importantly, his role doesn't require him to dominate the playmaking workload with Harden now capable of initiating a large share of the Cleveland Cavaliers half-court possessions.
The Philadelphia 76ers also have considerably more perimeter size after adding Jaylen Brown and LeBron James, which could make it tougher for Mitchell to consistently collapse the defense and generate easy kick-out opportunities.
Anfernee Simons to Score 10+ Points (+110)
Cavaliers at 76ers, 7:10 p.m. ET
Anfernee Simons doesn't need a huge workload to get over such a modest scoring line.
Simons has averaged at least 17.3 points per game in each of the past five seasons, including 19.3 points per game last year. His role is smaller now on this Philadelphia roster, but he remains an aggressive perimeter scorer who can pile up points quickly from beyond the arc.
Even limited to a bench role, Simons should have opportunities to operate with the Sixers’ second unit and provide instant offense. We saw that in Tuesday’s opener as Simons got 10 shots, hitting five of them. Of those 10 attempts, eight game from downtown. He finished with 13 points.
Simons to get to double digits tonight is my favorite player prop of the slate.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 30.5 Points (-114)
Nuggets at Thunder, 9:40 p.m. ET
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - Points
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander remains the centerpiece of the Oklahoma City Thunder‘s offense, and his scoring history against the Denver Nuggets makes this prop worth considering.
Gilgeous-Alexander averaged 31.1 points per game last season, and he opened the new campaign with 32 points against an elite San Antonio Spurs defense. His recent history against the Nuggets is even more encouraging as he's scored at least 35 points in each of his past two meetings with Denver.
The Thunder are also carrying an implied team total north of 122.5 points in a game with a total of 235.5, so Oklahoma City is expected to generate plenty of offense.
Gilgeous-Alexander's combination of elite usage, free-throw production, and efficiency gives him a strong path to another big scoring performance.

NBA Player Prop Bets FAQ
What are NBA player prop bets?
NBA player prop bets are wagers on specific statistical outcomes for individual players during a game — independent of which team wins or loses. You might bet on how many points a star guard scores, whether a big man grabs 10 or more rebounds, or how many assists a point guard dishes out.
What types of NBA player props are available?
FanDuel offers an extensive menu of NBA props. The most common categories include:
- Points — over/under on a player's scoring total
- Rebounds — over/under on total boards (offensive + defensive)
- Assists — over/under on dimes dished
- Three-pointers made — over/under on made threes
- Points + rebounds + assists (PRA) — combined stat total for those three stats
- Double-double or triple-double — yes/no prop on achieving the milestone
How do NBA player prop odds work?
NBA props use the standard American (moneyline) odds format. A negative number indicates how much you must wager to profit $100, while a positive number shows the profit on a $100 bet.
- -115 odds — bet $115 to win $100
- +115 odds — bet $100 to win $115
- -200 odds — bet $200 to win $100
What is a points prop bet in the NBA?
A points prop is a bet on whether a specific player will score over or under a set total. For example, a line might read: LeBron James — Points — Over 24.5 (-110).
Key factors to research before betting points props include the player's recent scoring form, the opposing team's defensive rating and points allowed to their position, pace of play, and how many minutes the player is likely to play.
What is a PRA prop bet for NBA?
PRA stands for Points + Rebounds + Assists — a combined stat prop that totals all three categories into one number. For example, a Nikola Jokic PRA line might be set at 49.5.
PRA props are popular for versatile players because their contributions span multiple statistical categories. They're less volatile than single-stat props since a slow scoring night can be offset by a strong rebounding or passing game.
