NBA Draft Odds: Will Zach Edey Be Selected in the Top 15?

The 2024 NBA Draft kicks off tomorrow night, and FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA Draft odds offer plenty of ways to get in on the action.

In addition to odds for who will be selected at each of the top 10 picks, FanDuel is offering a market for Zach Edey's draft position. As of Tuesday, June 25th, Edey's draft position line is set at 15.5 with -140 odds toward the under.

Let's dive into the Zach Edey draft position over/under via the NBA odds at FanDuel Sportsbook and break down when he could be drafted.

Zach Edey being taken under -- or before -- pick 15.5 is the -140 favorite for this market.

Edey enters the draft fresh off one of the most decorated college basketball careers in modern history. One of just two men's players to win multiple Wooden Awards, Edey led the country in scoring (25.2 points per game) last season and finished third in rebounding (12.2 rebounds per game).

The 7'4", 300-pound center left a lasting memory with 37 points and 10 rebounds in the National Championship game, and he carried that momentum into the NBA Combine. At the combine, Edey finished ahead of fellow big man Donovan Clingan -- who has -430 odds to be a Top 5 Pick -- in agility, three-quarter sprint, and both vertical measurements.

He flashed impressive shooting ability at the combine, too, ranking third among centers in on-the-move college threes. The potential for more outside shooting growth, coupled with Edey's better-than-expected agility and speed measurements, have sent him soaring up draft boards.

Ahead of Wednesday's draft, Edey is ranked 16th on ESPN's Best Available list, 14th on The Ringer's Big Board, and 23rd on CBS Sports' Prospect Rankings.

Edey has worked out for several teams, including the Utah Jazz (pick 10), Sacramento Kings (13), Los Angeles Lakers (17), and Toronto Raptors (19).

But Edey's draft position likely won't be limited to the teams he worked out for, at least according to the latest mock drafts.

The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor's latest mock sends Edey to theOklahoma City Thunder at No. 12. Meanwhile, ESPN's Jonathan Givony has him going 15th to the Miami Heat, and Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman has the Lakers selecting Edey 17th.

Edey is a polarizing prospect, but it's not hard to envision a team inside the top 15 taking a swing on him. Players with his size are hard to come by, especially those with his track record of stellar production.

In addition to his draft position over/under of 15.5, Edey has +240 odds to be a Top 10 Pick and +10000 odds to be a Top 5 Pick.
