The 2024 NBA Draft is right around the corner, and it's never too early to get in on the action at FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Atlanta Hawks won the lottery and have the No. 1 pick. Without a super clear-cut top prospect this year -- at least compared to last summer's draft -- all eyes are on Atlanta leading up to June 26th.

Let's dive into the NBA Draft No. 1 pick odds via the NBA odds at FanDuel Sportsbook and break down the names at the top of the market.

Alexandre Sarr (-280)

French big man Alex Sarr is the favorite to go first overall at -280 odds.

Sarr most recently played in the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) where he averaged 9.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 0.9 assists over 17.3 minutes per game. He ranked third in the NBL in blocks, swatting 1.5 shots per game. Notably, his Perth Wildcats squared off with the G League Ignite last September. Across two games, Sarr averaged 21.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 6.0 blocks versus the Ignite.

Before playing in Australia, Sarr spent the 2021-22 season in Atlanta with Overtime Elite. There, he averaged 11.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.

At 7'1", Sarr has the size teams crave. He already profiles as an impact defender thanks to his length and motor, but Sarr has flashed perimeter skills on offense, too. He's not yet an efficient outside shooter but hasn't been shy about hoisting jumpers. His ball-handling and passing are intriguing traits for a modern NBA big.

With Atlanta, Sarr would be a natural replacement for Clint Capela. Sarr could (in theory) maintain Capela's rim protection while offering more on the offensive end. His length would be much appreciated if the team elects to keep their current backcourt of Trae Young and Dejounte Murray.

Sarr is projected to be drafted first in both ESPN's and The Ringer's latest mock drafts.

There's still a good amount of time prior to the draft and Sarr doesn't have the pedigree of recent top picks, but he is the early favorite to be drafted Number 1 overall.

Zaccharie Risacher (+410)

Forward Zaccharie Risacher has the second-shortest odds to be first overall at +410.

Risacher most recently played in his native France for the LNB Pro A team Mincidelice JL Bourg. Risacher averaged a team-high 13.1 points per game while shooting 56% from three in the Euro Cup before propelling Bourg to the third-best record in France's top league.

The 19-year-old wing stands at 6'8", but his outside shooting is what profiles as his best NBA trait. He already has the length to make an impact on the defensive end and has flashed quality offensive skills for his size.

Assuming Risacher's three-point shooting translates, it's easy to envision him in Quinn Synder's offense. The Hawks attempted the seventh-most threes in the NBA this season but ranked just 17th in three-point field goal percentage.

Bleacher Report mocked Risacher to go first overall in their latest mock draft, though he was down at second in ESPN's and seventh in The Ringer's.

It's not uncommon for international prospects to vault up big boards, so Risacher is a name to keep an eye on as Atlanta continues to scout over the next month.

Donovan Clingan (+1100)

Two-time NCAA National Champion Donvan Clingan has the third-shortest odds to go first. Outside of the first two we've mentioned, Clingan is the only other player with odds shorter than 30 to 1 to go first.

Clingan is the highest rated American prospect. He took a leap in his second season at UConn, averaging 13.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks for college basketball's top team.

Clingan stands at 7'2" and weights 280 pounds. His size is an obvious draw for teams, and he'd likely fill the Capela role immediately for the Hawks. However, Clingan profiles as more of a traditional offensive big than Sarr does, though Clingan has flashed some outside shooting in the pre-draft process.

The big man has seen his draft projection fluctuate throughout the season, and recent mock drafts still aren't sure what to do with him. In their latest mocks, Bleacher Report has him being drafted third, ESPN has him sixth, and The Ringer has him second.

Clingan's size isn't going away, and if the Hawks buy into his offensive potential, the former UConn star could find himself soaring up the board by late June.
