One of the more entertaining markets offered by FanDuel Sportsbook for the 2024 NBA Draft is head-to-head draft position lines for players. This pits two prospects against each other, giving us a chance to select which player will be the first off of the board between the two.

Ahead of today's first round, FanDuel's NBA Draft odds has four lines available for the head-to-head market. This includes potential lottery selections, such as Rob Dillingham vs. Ron Holland.

Which head-to-head lines could be the best bets? Let's check out two prospects who look poised to win their head-to-head matchup.

NBA Draft Odds

Jared McCain (-148) vs. Tristan Da Silva (+112)

A pair of sharpshooters are an intriguing matchup with Jared McCain (-148) favored to be selected over Tristan Da Silva. This matchup could come down to one selection -- the Philadelphia 76ers at No. 16.

USA Today featured a recent piece rounding up mock drafts from various outlets. With the 16th pick, two mocks had McCain going to the Sixers while another had Da Silva in this slot. At No. 17, Da Silva was selected in two of the three mocks.

Around the middle of the first round is where we should expect McCain and Da Silva to fall. Given that this pick could be separated by quite literally one selection, whoever goes first could come down to team fit.

In Philadelphia's case, Kyle Lowry, De'Anthony Melton, Cameron Payne, Buddy Hield, and Kelly Oubre are all headed for free agency. As a restricted free agency, Tyrese Maxey has good chance of being re-signed. Outside of Maxey potentially returning, we don't know what the Sixers' backcourt is going to look like.

Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer highlighted McCain's ability as a shooter, passer, and defender. This seems like it would be an ideal fit alongside Maxey. The Ringer also put out a mock with McCain going 17th to the Los Angeles Lakers and Da Silva being drafted by the Phoenix Suns at No. 22.

The bulk of mock drafts have McCain going before Da Silva. The Duke product even has a chance of cracking the lottery picks as he worked out for the Sacramento Kings, who sit at pick 13. Give me the Duke guard to be off of the board before Da Silva hears his name called.

Rob Dillingham (+128) vs. Ron Holland (-172)

Two of the biggest wild cards tonight could be Rob Dillingham and Ron Holland. Both players have seen their stock drop over the last couple of months, per reports -- especially Holland, who was once regarded as one of the draft's best prospects.

With that said, the odds for this matchup are a bit puzzling. According to FanDuel's odds to be a top-10 pick, Dillingham is +105 while Holland is +210. Holland's odds to be a top-10 pick keep getting longer prior to Wednesday's first round.

Meanwhile, Dillingham is still a popular choice for the Spurs at No. 8. For example, the New York Post and USA Today are still mocking Dillingham to San Antonio.

This one's pretty simple. If Dillingham has shorter odds than Holland to be a top-10 pick, I'm very interested in taking him to be selected before Holland. If there's a plus-money line worth targeting among the matchup odds, it's this one.
