NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Best Bets: CRC Brackleen 175

Corey Heim is the runaway favorite for Friday's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series CRC Brackleen 175 in Pocono. And I've got some bad news.

It's for good reason.

Heim is +135 in FanDuel Sportsbook's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series betting odds. That's 42.6% implied. That's well above my model at 31.2%, so we can't bet Heim, himself, but he also hogs a lot of win equity, preventing others from grading out well.

Thus, it'll likely be a pretty light week. But here's what the sims say prior to Friday's practice and qualifying.

Pocono Truck Series Betting Picks

• Tyler Ankrum (+3000): Ankrum has had bad luck on high-speed tracks this year, but he bounced back with a top-five in Nashville. Given the horsepower McAnally Hilgemann has shown, I agree that 3.2% is too low. My sims have Ankrum at 4.0%.
• Stewart Friesen (+6500): Friesen seems to be over whatever was killing his speed last year and early this year. He finished runner-up in Charlotte and had a top-10 average running position at Gateway and Nashville. I've got him at 2.7% to win, up from 1.5% implied.
