Logan Allen is expected to start for the Cleveland Guardians on Monday following a stint at Triple-A, which favors Ketel Marte and the Arizona Diamondbacks tremendously.

Across his first 18 starts in 2024, Allen ranked in the 5th percentile in xERA (5.54), 13th percentile in xBA (.274), 5th percentile in barrel rate (11.1%), and 5th percentile in hard-hit rate (46.1%).

Meanwhile, Marte has been raking against lefties this season, posting an elite .455 wOBA, 199 wRC+, and .325 ISO in that split. Hitting out of the leadoff spot often has led to Marte recording at least one hit in six consecutive games and at least one RBI in five of his last six -- with four homers during that span.

At the bottom of Arizona's batting order, Geraldo Perdomo has been getting on base frequently in recent contests. Perdomo is also on a six-game hitting streak, scoring at least one run in five of those outings.

On the season, Allen is permitting a .390 wOBA, 1.60 WHIP, and 9.7% walk rate to righties, compared to a .346 wOBA, 1.30 WHIP, and 6.2% walk rate to lefties. Provided those splits, it's worth noting that Perdomo is sporting a .329 wOBA, 112 wRC+, and just an 11.1% strikeout rate when facing left-handed pitching.

To finish out this SGP, I'll take Jose Ramirez to tally two-plus bases for the Guardians. Ramirez has gotten at least one hit in seven of his last eight contests, and he has a .344 ISO or higher and a .400 wOBA or higher against Zac Gallen's two primary pitches (four-seam fastball and knuckle curve) versus left-handed hitters.

San Francisco Giants at Washington Nationals

The Washington Nationals continue to let Patrick Corbin take the mound, and the San Francisco Giants should do plenty of damage against him away from Oracle Park. Through 22 starts this year, Corbin is sitting in the 3rd percentile in xERA (5.84), 1st percentile in xBA (.310), 27th percentile in barrel rate (9.0%), and 4th percentile in hard-hit rate (47.0%).

Against right-handed batters, Corbin is giving up a .370 wOBA, 1.51 WHIP, and 1.29 HR/9. This is why Tyler Fitzgerald and Matt Chapman are two players we want to target in this SGP.

Fitzgerald has become a main fixture in San Francisco's lineup, earning a .396 wOBA, 162 wRC+, and .269 ISO versus left-handed pitching. On top of that, Fitzgerald has logged two-plus hits in two of his last three games, hitting a home run in both of his multi-hit performances during that span.

As for Chapman, the veteran infielder is crushing lefties to the tune of a .383 wOBA, 153 wRC+, and .218 ISO. With Chapman hitting out of the No. 3 spot in the lineup -- likely two spots after Fitzgerald -- he should have plenty of RBI opportunities versus Corbin and Washington's bullpen.

The last time Logan Webb was on the bump for the Giants, he pitched a complete-game shutout versus the Oakland Athletics. Even though Webb has the lowest swinging strike rate of his career at 8.1%, he draws a favorable matchup against the Nationals.

While the Nats have the eighth-lowest strikeout rate (19.3%), they also have the eighth-worst wOBA (.291), eighth-worst wRC+ (86), and worst ISO (.105) when facing right-handed pitching over the last 14 days. Besides having two players in their projected lineup with a strikeout rate of 40% or higher versus right-handed pitchers, Washington also has the 12th-highest swinging rate on pitches outside of the zone (32.5%) in the last month.

Chicago White Sox at Oakland Athletics

JP Sears is coming off his best start of the season for the Oakland Athletics, posting nine Ks while giving up just three hits and zero earned runs in seven innings of action. After getting to face the Giants at pitcher-friendly Oracle Park, Sears will get to face the hapless Chicago White Sox on Monday.

Chicago has the worst wOBA (.256), second-worst wRC+ (65), worst ISO (.104), and fifth-highest strikeout rate (29.2%) against southpaws in the last 30 days. Additionally, Sears boasts a swinging strike rate of 14.7% or higher in two of his last four starts, which is why I am taking the alternate strikeouts prop.

Aside from the White Sox being on a historic 20-game losing streak, Sears has been credited with a win in four of his last five outings. Chicago is also projected to let Ky Bush make his first start in the majors on Monday.

Across two starts and two relief appearances at Triple-A this year, Bush is registering a forgettable 5.10 xFIP, 11.8% walk rate, 18.8% strikeout rate, and 42.1% hard-hit rate. Brent Rooker is among the hitters on the Athletics who can make it a short outing from Bush.

Rooker is rocking a fantastic .423 wOBA, 182 wRC+, and .408 ISO against left-handed pitching in 2024. In 8 of his last 11 games, Rooker has achieved two-plus bases at the plate.
