MLB Same Game Parlay Bets for Wednesday 7/3/24

New York Mets at Washington Nationals

Francisco Lindor to Record 2+ Total Bases (-125)
Mark Vientos to Record an RBI (+125)

Combined Odds: +295

Facing left-handed pitching has been a strong suit for the New York Mets this season, and they'll take on Mitchell Parker and the Washington Nationals on Wednesday. On the season, the Mets are recording the fourth-best wOBA (.339), second-best wRC+ (125), and fourth-best ISO (.180) versus southpaws.

One player who has helped contribute to New York's success against lefties is Francisco Lindor. Against left-handed pitchers, Lindor is posting a .383 wOBA, 155 wRC+, .247 ISO, and just a 9.3% strikeout rate.

When it comes to his recent form, Lindor has tallied two-plus bases in five of his last seven contests. After hitting a homer on Tuesday, Lindor is carrying +330 odds to hit a home run on Wednesday.

Mark Vientos has also been crushing left-handed pitching to the tune of a .471 wOBA, 215 wRC+, and .305 ISO in that split. With Vientos hitting out of the five-hole in recent games, he's logged at least one RBI in seven of his last eight appearances -- including each of his last four.

Given the fact he has a .286 ISO or higher versus Parker's two primary pitches (four-seam fastball and curveball) against right-handed hitters, Vientos is also being given +330 odds to hit a home run.

Milwaukee Brewers at Colorado Rockies

Christian Yelich to Record an RBI (-120)
Ryan McMahon to Record an RBI (+120)

Combined Odds: +311

Ahead of Wednesday's matchup at Coors Field between the Milwaukee Brewers and Colorado Rockies, we'll have two pitchers who struggle when facing left-handed hitters.

Beginning with Dakota Hudson, the right-handed starter for the Rockies excels at keeping the ball out of the air with a 52.9% groundball rate. At the same time, Hudson is in the 7th percentile in xERA (5.56), 7th percentile in xBA (.289), 2nd percentile in strikeout rate (12.0%), and 27th percentile in hard-hit rate (42.0%). Against left-handed bats, Hudson is permitting a dismal .382 wOBA, 1.81 WHIP, 5.63 xFIP, and 1.67 HR/9.

Provided those numbers, Christian Yelich should excel at the plate on Wednesday. Yelich has two-plus hits in three straight games, and he's sporting a .396 wOBA, 159 wRC+, and .175 ISO versus right-handed pitching.

While Yelich has tallied just two RBIs in his last 10 games, it's only a matter of time before his recent success results in runs being scored for Milwaukee.

As for Colin Rea, Milwaukee's starter, the veteran righty ranks in the 10th percentile in xERA (5.31), 8th percentile in xBA (.285), 14th percentile in strikeout rate (16.8%), and 21st percentile in barrel rate (9.5%). Rea is allowing a .347 wOBA, 1.40 WHIP, and 1.75 HR/9 to lefties, which puts Ryan McMahon in a premier spot in this matchup.

McMahon boasts a .200 ISO or higher and a .322 wOBA or higher against two of Rea's top four pitches (sinker and cutter) versus left-handed hitters. With winds blowing to right at Coors, Yelich has +460 odds to hit a home run while McMahon has +400 odds in the same market.

Arizona Diamondbacks at Los Angeles Dodgers

Christian Walker to Record 2+ Total Bases (+115)
Freddie Freeman to Record an RBI (+120)

Combined Odds: +364

It was an exciting 6-5 contest between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday. While the Dodgers are likely to have the pitching advantage with Cristian Mena expected to make his MLB debut for the Diamondbacks, there are intriguing bats for both teams.

Gavin Stone is slated to make his 16th start of the season, logging a 4.24 SIERA and 4.02 xFIP up to this point. Even though Stone is performing pretty well on the bump, he's shown reverse splits in the power department.

Stone is giving up a 1.05 HR/9 to right-handed hitters as all six of his homers allowed this year have been to righties. Christian Walker just happens to be a right-handed bat in Arizona's lineup who is heating up in recent games.

Walker has registered two-plus bases in four of his last six contests, with multiple hits in each of his last three. Having a .217 ISO or higher against three of Stone's top four pitches (sinker, changeup, and four-seam fastball) versus right-handed hitters has Walker earning +400 odds to hit a home run.

It will be quite the welcome for Mena as he'll be tasked with facing a lethal Dodgers lineup on the road in his first career start. Mena has recorded a 4.66 xFIP and 10.4% walk rate at the Triple-A level this year, so he could find himself in trouble during his debut.

Freddie Freeman is among the bats to target from Los Angeles as he boasts an impressive .425 wOBA, 181 wRC+, .243 ISO, and just a 15.2% strikeout rate when facing right-handed pitching. Aside from notching at least one hit in eight of his last 11 contests, Freeman has tallied an RBI in seven of those games.

Freeman is holding +460 odds to hit a home run versus Mena or an Arizona bullpen that has the fourth-worst HR/9 (1.14), fourth-worst hard-hit rate (40.2%), and eighth-worst barrel rate (7.7%).
