MLB Same Game Parlay Bets

San Francisco Giants at Los Angeles Dodgers

Giants Moneyline (+106)
Clayton Kershaw Under 4.5 Strikeouts (+102)
Heliot Ramos To Record 2+ Total Bases (+100)

Combined Odds: +457

Clayton Kershaw makes his season debut tonight after missing the first 3.5 months of the campaign rehabbing shoulder surgery.

Though he's been deemed ready to pitch in the majors again, the San Francisco Giants aren't an ideal opponent for the lefty. This is an intriguing spot to back the Giants on the moneyline.

Against left-handed pitchers, San Francisco ranks ninth in wOBA (.324) and eighth in wRC+ (114) while registering hard contact at the 10th-highest clip (32%).

Kershaw may rediscover his elite form quickly, but his rehab starts left something to be desired. In his most recent outing with Triple-A Oklahoma City, he allowed six hits and three runs across four innings.

Logan Webb starting for San Fran helps this side, too. He's pitched to a 3.50 SIERA through 21 starts and has faced the Los Angeles Dodgers three times already. The Giants are 2-1 in Webb's starts versus LA, and he's surrendered just two runs over his last 13 innings against them.

LA leads the season series 8-4, but three of San Fran's eight losses have come by a single run.

Kershaw was pulled after 67 pitches in his latest rehab outing, and he recorded just two strikeouts. That makes Kershaw under 4.5 strikeouts an intriguing add to this Same Game Parlay.

The Giants have struck out at the 12th-highest rate (22.5%) against lefties, but they have the sixth-lowest swinging-strike rate overall (9.9%).

In three starts against them last season, Kershaw recorded five, five, and four strikeouts despite exceeding 75 pitches in all three outings. The last time Kershaw returned from a prolonged absence back in 2023, he threw 67 and 71 pitches in his first two starts back.

Our MLB projections peg Kershaw for just 4.2 strikeouts in 4.7 innings.

Building off this Kershaw fade, the final Same Game Parlay leg we can add is Heliot Ramos to record 2+ total bases.

Ramos has been a breakout star for the Giants, registering a 14.6% barrel rate and 48.9% hard-hit rate.

He's been especially effective against lefties via a .537 wOBA, 1.320 OPS, and 258 wRC+.

Atlanta Braves at New York Mets

Braves Moneyline (-118)
Austin Riley To Record a Run (-125)
Marcell Ozuna To Record an RBI (+160)

Combined Odds: +398

With Chris Sale (13-3) starting for the Atlanta Braves and Luis Severino (7-3) scheduled for the New York Mets, this is a spot to back the Braves moneyline.

The Braves have dropped 7 of their last 10 games, but they've emerged victorious in 13 of Sale's 18 starts on the season.

New York has been the best lineup in baseball against lefties, but Sale's pitching as well as anyone in the game. Among qualified starters, the southpaw ranks 3rd in SIERA (2.69), 4th in strikeout rate (32.4%), and 10th in barrel rate allowed (5.7%).

Meanwhile, Severino has punched above his weight this season. Despite a 3.58 ERA, the righty's 4.41 xFIP and 4.50 SIERA suggest he's been a pretty blah pitcher.

That puts the Braves in a nice spot to produce, so we can tack on a pair of player props to this Same Game Parlay.

Austin Riley has strong right-handed splits, sporting a .347 wOBA and 123 wRC+. He ranks second on the Braves with 49 runs this season, and that's an avenue we want to explore tonight.

Riley benefits from batting third against righties, ahead of Marcell Ozuna and Matt Olson. Having those two behind him gives him a chance to score every time he reaches base.

Ozuna has shredded righties this season, so we can add Ozuna to record an RBI.

Against right-handed pitchers, Ozuna .has a .396 wOBA, .936 OPS, and 156 wRC+. He ranks third in the league with 80 RBI and has driven in three runs across five games since the All-Star break.

Oakland Athletics at Los Angeles Angels

Logan O'Hoppe To Record 2+ Total Bases (-125)
Luis Rengifo To Record a Run (-135)
Miguel Andujar To Record 2+ Total Bases (+100)

Combined Odds: +510

Neither Ross Stripling nor Kenny Rosenberg have been especially impressive on the mound this season, so this Oakland Athletics-Los Angeles Angels is a prime spot to load up on batter props for a Same Game Parlay.

The right-handed Stripling is making his return from the injured list tonight. He owns a 4.78 SIERA this season and had given up 17 runs across his last four starts before hitting the IL.

That paves the way for Angels catcher Logan O'Hoppe two record 2+ total Bases.

O'Hoppe has been a standout on an otherwise lackluster Angels roster.

He enters tonight with an 81st-perecentile expected wOBA (.349) and 9.8% barrel rate overall. He's been especially impactful against right-handed pitchers, sporting a .361 wOBA and .834 OPS.

Luis Rengifo hits two spots ahead of O'Hoppe in the order, and he's also been strong against righties. Consequently, we can look for Luis Rengifo to record a run.

Against right-handed pitchers, Rengifo sports a .327 wOBA and .743 OPS. Among Angels, the No. 2 hitter has scored the fifth-most runs (36) despite playing just 71 games.

On the opposing side, lefty Kenny Rosenberg will make just his appearance of the season, yet his second in a row against Oakland. Over 10 total innings, Rosenberg has surrendered 12 hits, 7 runs, and a pair of home runs.

Miguel Andujar will be happy to see the lefty again after he went 2 for 2 versus Rosenberg last weekend. For the final leg of this Same Game Parlay, we can add Miguel Andujar to record 2+ bases.

Andujar has been on an absolute heater since the All-Star break, batting .444 and collecting at least two bases in five of six games.

He's been a nuisance for opposing lefties this season, albeit in a limited sample. Against that split, Andujar has a .551 wOBA and 1.287 OPS.
