Los Angeles Dodgers Odds to Win the World Series

The Los Angeles Dodgers had as good of an offseason as a team can have, and they now boast as talented of a roster as any squad in recent MLB history.

However, having the hype is one thing -- living up to it is something completely different.

What are the Dodgers' odds to win the World Series, per the World Series odds at FanDuel Sportsbook?

The Los Angeles Dodgers are listed at +320 to win the World Series, making them the favorite. Only one other team -- the Atlanta Braves -- has odds shorter than +700.

Let's take a look at what we can expect from the Dodgers in 2024.

Dodgers Analysis

The Dodgers are the team to beat this season, and it's because of the incredibly talented roster they've assembled.

When a team makes the headline addition of the offseason, it's a big deal. But what if one squad accounts for three of the offseason's biggest moves? That's the Dodgers, who were already the second-favorite to win it all -- at +700 -- before any offseason moves and then got a lot better over the winter.

The free-agent signings of Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto gave Los Angeles the top two players on the open market.

Due to injury, Ohtani won't be able to help in the rotation this year, but his bat will make a big impact to a talented, deep lineup that already features Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Will Smith, Max Muncy and others.

The signing of Yamamoto gives the Dodgers a locked in ace who carries lots of excitement and mystery. Joining Yamamoto -- who owns +180 odds to win NL Rookie of the Year -- in the rotation will be Tyler Glasnow, a right-handed flamethrower LA added via a trade with the Tampa Bay Rays.

The moves go on and on when it comes to the Dodgers. They had the money and spent it, and they now sport a loaded roster, boasting three players (Betts, Freeman, and Ohtani) in the top five of the NL MVP odds.

The Dodgers' offseason moves caused their World Series odds to go from +700 right after the 2023 season ended to +320 now.

Not only is the World Series in LA's sights this year -- it's basically World Series or bust for this team after one of the most impressive offseasons in recent history.
