How to Watch Super Bowl LVIII: Chiefs vs 49ers in 2024

The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers have secured their spot in the biggest football game of the year. The two teams will compete for the Lombardi Trophy to be crowned Super Bowl LVIII Champions on February 11th. Whether you’re watching the big game from the comfort of your couch, or sharing the occasion with friends, here is everything you need to know about Super Bowl LVIII and how to watch the action.

Who is Playing in the Super Bowl?

Super Bowl LVIII will be played by the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.

The Kansas City Chiefs, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, clinched their fourth Super Bowl appearance in five years with a gritty 17-10 victory over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game. The San Francisco 49ers, guided by quarterback Brock Purdy, secured their spot by outlasting the Detroit Lions 34-31 in the NFC Championship Game.

This game is a rematch of Super Bowl LIV, where the Chiefs emerged as Super Bowl champions with a 31-20 win over the 49ers. The Chiefs are looking to come away with their fourth-ever Super Bowl win. Meanwhile, the 49ers will look to secure the franchise's sixth, which would put them in the elite company of the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots for the most Super Bowl victories.

The Chiefs will have home team honors, while the 49ers, representing the NFC, will be considered the away team. The NFL alternates each year between the two conferences.

What is the Super Bowl Pre-Game Schedule?

The National Anthem will be sung by Reba McIntyre, followed by performances from Post Malone and Andra Day.

The program will also include Gronk's Kick of Destiny 2. Former New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski will attempt a 25-year field goal in a much-anticipated sequel to last year's Kick of Destiny. You can even join the fun by picking whether Gronk will make or miss the field goal at FanDuel Sportsbook. If you guess correctly, you will win a share of $10,000,000 in bonus bets.

Play-by-play analyst Jim Nantz and color commentator Tony Romo have been tapped to serve as the broadcasting duo for Super Bowl LVIII. This marks their third time announcing the Super Bowl together.
