THE NIGHT FOX (5) displayed pleasing improvement last start when he came from the back line to score at Hawera. Returns to the front row and may prove tough to beat again in what looks a suitable assignment. BARBAROSSA (8) draws wide but is looming as a threat after a better effort last start, finishing third at Taupo. TUGAWAR (2) enjoys a class drop off the last attempt at Alexandra Park and should get his chance from this draw.
