Verdict

THE MERC (10) scored in nice style a fortnight ago, the second win from his past four outings at this venue. Yet to win at this shorter distance but he is going well. SCOOTS (5) was successful last time out in a strong performance at this circuit. Goes back in the handicap but a repeat of the most recent effort would take him close again. EAGLE HANOVER (3) is working towards a win and could be ready to deliver after finishing runner-up at this circuit and distance last time out. NIAMH (8) got it wrong last time but won here prior so is worth another chance.
