ABOVE THE CLOUDS (1) steadily improved with racing this prep, and again showed his liking for this track when winning comfortably here 3 weeks ago in this class. He has to lump an extra 9lbs this time, but with the aid of the pole position, he should be very competitive again. DANCIN IN THE DARK (2) has raced his way into some form again, and he won't find this field much harder. With the right run, he can figure in the top 4 again. BECAUSE (4) is a durable veteran who put in an encouraging effort for fifth fresh up at Te Rapa 11 days ago over 1m. His better form is over a middle distance, and he can be a quick improver in this class. MULAN ARDECHE (3) has been thereabouts through the winter on this track since winning at Otaki in April. Include in all top 4 combos.
