Star colt JUMAL (3) stretched his record to 11 from 13 when he overcame a wide barrier to win a semi-final of this series at this circuit and distance last week. Dominated the Northern Derby at Alexandra Park prior and the ideal draw should see him land another Group 1. SONOFAMISTERY (5) wasn't too far off Jumal when he placed last week. Draws wider than that rival this time so it will be hard to turn the tables but he can be in the finish again as can FOREVER MIKI (8) who draws deep this time but pushed Jumal last week. That was his first defeat in four starts so he has upside. FLYING ACE (1) jumps in grade but he gets the ace draw so may be competitive after winning from a wide barrier at Ashburton last time out.
