QUEEN OF SWORDS (9) has joined the Michael House stable since she was last seen in July. May need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position but she looks nicely placed and has won when fresh before so may prove tough to beat. PUTERE BOY (5) was solid without a lot of room to work with last start and had recorded a series of top-three results prior. Yet to miss a place in four tries at this circuit and distance, winning twice. Threat. MOUTON CADET (3) is on a quick back up after beating only one home on Sunday but he placed in two of his previous three outings. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run so he is worth another chance. SHADOW CREEK (6) has some claims off a second at Ashburton two back.
