DUCHESS MARIA (7) brought some very good form to the table before the latest appearance when she got the job done again, scoring by 10 metres over 1 ¹¹/16m at Ascot Park Raceway. Has to contend with a very wide draw. Steps up a level but she is up to the task. OUR COL (2) made it two wins from her last three outings two weeks ago, getting home by 4.5 metres over 1m at Alexandra Park. No excuses from this advantageous draw. It doesn't get any easier but she is capable of making it consecutive wins. RAFFIE JAY (4) is ready to run a big race first-up from a break following three trials. A positive betting push will add to the confidence. IMPERIOUS GIRL (8) is usually thereabouts and must be included in combinations following a last start fifth at Ashburton Raceway.
