JUKEBOX GYPSY (3) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when a close third at Ashburton. Was fourth over this longer distance here prior. Draws well and could break through in what looks a suitable assignment. BABE ON THE BEACH (9) has been racing well, placing in four of her last five starts including a second most recently at Central Southland. The driver has some work to do from this wide starting position but she is ticking along well. NORMIE STEAD (8) hasn't been too far away since his second over this distance at Patterson Park last month. In the mix. Tricky draw for CARLIN (15) but the form is good, finishing fourth here last week to follow a Mt Harding win.
