HERE COMES MARTY (10) drew wide last start and was safely held but had been producing some decent efforts prior so is capable of much better. Drawn to enjoy a cosy run and if he gets the gaps he has the ability to take this out. A BETTER JACKALACK (6) was never a genuine threat last start but had a tough barrier. Good effort to come from this barrier and place at Rangiora prior so is worth another chance. ENYA FRANCO (7) kicked off the campaign with back-to-back placings and wasn't too far away last start. Draws wide but should be close to peak fitness now. THE BEACH HOUSE (1) has had a series of second row barriers so is much better served by the ace draw.
