AXEL ROSE (10) kicked off his campaign with three placings before making a well-deserved return to the winners' circle last week, proving too good at this circuit and distance. Has to contend with a very wide draw this time but is race fit now so with even luck he could strike again. DIDN'T DI (4) chased Axel Rose when runner-up last week, his third placing in four outings since a Rangiora win. Draws inside that rival this time so could turn the tables. LOOK TO DA STARS (8) is first up for five months but recorded back-to-back wins here and at Alexandra Park back in November. Look out for any positive market movement. A win could be imminent for ALMIGHTY (6) having placed in his last two outings at this circuit and distance, the latest from this same barrier.
