Verdict

HUNTIN BOOTS showed ability in 2 bumpers and should fare better now hurdling and upped in trip, so he is narrowly preferred in receipt of 8 lb to Square Necker, a useful Flat performer who won twice before finishing mid-field in the Ebor and should make his mark in this sphere, while Well Friend appeals as the most likely of Paul Nolan’s quintet to make an impact, though the market should prove informative.
