GO TRIGGER (3) has been racing more consistently this prep, and followed up a decisive maiden win at Waverley with a game third at New Plymouth just over a fortnight ago in a tougher field than what he meets here. Hard to beat again. WHISKEY N' RYE (2) has disappointed in his last 2 starts, and he is normally much better than his recent form suggests. We allow him one more chance in this sort of field. DUPUG (1) made some progress last year prior to being tipped out for a spell in the spring. He might need the run, but was close up in a recent trial, and he can make his presence felt in this, especially if there is any money for him. TRAINWRECK (6) will be peaking third up, and dropping back to his pet trip will help him. A form reversal is expected, so stick with him.
