SNOWFLAKE (10) is a lot stronger this season and is also more settled around at the start. Her last couple of starts over ground have been full of merit, and she is the one to beat in this. AIR DANCER (2) was a game fourth at Tauranga last time out, and should have finished closer that day. His only placing has come racing in an anti-clockwise direction, and even from a wide gate here, he can figure in the top 3. VICKEZZMARGAUX (13) was doing her best work late over 7f when resuming from a spell at Tauherenikau nearly 3 weeks ago. Stepping up a further 3 ¼f is the key for her, and she has each-way claims in this. ALL IN VAIN (4) whacked away for fifth last start in his first run over ground. He will continue to improve with racing, and is worth including in all combinations. PLAIN SAILING (1) was third fresh up at Waipukurau nearly 2 weeks ago, and another solid effort is on the cards in a modest maiden field here.
