LITTERAL (4) struggled to see out 7f last time out at Riccarton, and it is best to ignore that effort. She has been near enough since relocating to the South Island, and from the pole position, she should be the one to beat. HOLLYHOCKAROO (3) won fresh up in the South Island at Timaru nearly a year ago, and resumes for a new local stable. She is only lightly tried, and with further time to mature, she can continue to make her way through the grades now. THE COOL ONE (1) was well beaten fresh up when finishing fourth at Oamaru 3 weeks ago, and his only win came here nearly a year ago. Hard to beat in this. TEARS OF VICTORY (7) battled away for seventh on the poly at Riccarton a month ago, and she can bounce straight back into the money at her first start on this course. Include.
