Verdict

RIPA TIME (1) was an overdue maiden win when fresh into her last prep, and she was then put aside to mature after finishing seventh as a hot favourite in her next start. She is perfectly drawn in the pole position, and she is set to run a big race in this. On top. OUR SALLYANN (2) has been trying to win a race for some time, but her last few starts have seen her produce some her best efforts to date. Her last start second on the poly at Riccarton is more than good enough to make her a top 3 chance again in this. RISK MITIGATION (5) fought on gamely for third at Oamaru 3 weeks ago, and she is worth including in all combos again. GO THEA (4) peaked on her effort late when resuming at Oamaru, and her only placing did come second up. She is a lot stronger now, and can figure in the top 4 with the right run.
