Verdict

DRAGON BISCUIT (3) has been racing consistently since joining the Cheri Trembath stable, and has been beaten by less than a length in his last couple of starts. His run of bad luck with his barrier draws will continue here, but with the right run, he can take this out. MARIA PILAR (12) built strongly to a well-deserved win at Gore by a nose nearly 7 weeks ago. The space between runs should not be an issue, and she can figure in the finish again here. SAILOR GIRL (6) followed up a hard-fought second with a game head win at Riverton just over 5 weeks ago. She should hold her form now, and another honest effort can be expected. Each way. BAKHITA (10) can mix her form and her last run for a fast finishing third was full of merit. A similar effort will take her close to winning this.
