Verdict

CAUTION CARDINAL hails from a barn that has been in good order for some time now and looks the one to get on board with. Hit Scene has been knocking at the door in recent races and is likely to be in the mix too. Frisco is another who requires consideration.

Horse Racing Basic Terms

Bobble/Stumble

A slip or a duck from a horse trying to leave the starting gates, often caused by the surface giving way under the feet. This can range from a mild misstep to a stumble down to their knees.

Bolt

A sudden veering to the inside or outside rail, often caused by the horse spooking or shying from something.

Tack

The equipment the horse wears, including saddle and bridle. A jockey typically has their own racing saddle, placed on each horse they ride just before the race.
