TRISTAR (8) battled away fairly well as the favourite when finishing fourth here 6 weeks ago, and the freshen up would have done her no harm. She loves it heavy, and she can make amends, so follow your money. KIA KAHA (12) has always had talent, and she has been well looked after as a rising 5YO mare. She rewarded her connections patience with a gutsy win here fresh up 2 weeks ago, and she can measure up here as well. Each way. LITTLE BIT OF LOVE (3) loves it here, and he is a toff in heavy ground, winning fresh up, and then finishing third here as the favourite a fortnight ago over 7f. Stick with her back over this trip. JETHRO TULL (11) resumes from a spell, and he has 2 solid trials under his belt. He usually needs a run, but he can't be taken lightly here. CLEAT (4) needed his last run at Ta Aroha when dropping back from a mile off a freshen up. He cops a wide gate, but it would be no surprise to see him take this out.
