SUGAR DADDY (8) handled the heavy ground at Te Aroha on debut with no trouble at all when scoring by nearly a length there less than a fortnight ago. He cops a wide gate, which by this time of the day may be an advantage, and he has the scope to take the next step immediately. TROUBLE MAKER (11) turned her form around when unleashing a powerful finish from well back to get up and score by over 2 lengths at Matamata nearly 3 weeks ago. She is likely to go back again from a wide gate, and if she can trek up off a genuine tempo, then she can have the last say again. EVER CHARM (5) has not won for some time, and was only beaten by a head when finishing third at Matamata last start. He slides down a grade, and another honest effort can be expected. AFTERGLO (10) cops another wide gate after a big run from well back to finish fifth off a similar draw here 3 weeks ago over 6 ½f. The extra 1 ½f is the key, so follow your money. DON'S LEGACY (4) was down in class when winning last start.
