WHISTLER (1) broke through in determined fashion last start at Pukekohe over 6f, showing plenty of grit to get the job done late when resuming from a spell. He is bred to want more ground than this, but a wet track is no problem, and he has the scope to take the next step immediately. TALE OF THE GYPSY (3) was strong through the line when just missing out by a short-head last start over 6f at Arawa Park, and she has won here in the past. With the right run, she can go one better in this. SHE'S UNTOUCHABLE (6) has been well supported in her last couple of starts without delivering. She has a superior draw and will also welcome Michael McNab back to the saddle. She is worth another chance in an even contest. COSMOPOLITAN (5) resumed in good order at Ellerslie, finishing off nicely into third and only a length from the winner. She gets a big swing in her draw here, and she will only improve again with the added fitness. Stick with he. HORRIE (2) has top 4 claims fresh up.
