Verdict

ALABAMA LASS (12) had nothing go right for her in a couple of starts earlier in the year, and she was put aside for the spring. She won a recent trial here against some of her rivals, and she is nicely placed to set the record straight. On top. CROCETTI (2) showed he was back on track when wining a recent Ruakaka trial, and the trip away would have also tightened up his condition. He is a brilliant sprinter, and fresh up he is always a winning threat. MEDIA WORLD (5) has been bought out of Australia, and this high-priced yearling has made steady progress in some hot fields in Australia. His form was near enough through his last prep, and his trial form suggests that he will have no trouble measuring up to this field. FIRST FIVE (1) really came of age last prep, and ended it with a brace of G1 victories against similar opposition to this. He has won twice fresh up in the past, and can win this on his home track. TWAIN (6) has to be kept safe at some nice top 4 value.
