ARTHUR (1) was racing in fine form before finishing a game fifth in tougher company at Ellerslie 15 days ago. He has Opie Bosson in the saddle this time, and from a good gate in easier company, he is the one to beat. IN YOUR DREAMS (12) kept on fighting bravely to hold onto third at Arawa Park nearly 3 weeks ago when making her debut. She steps straight out to a mile, and with the natural improvement that is expected, she will be right in the finish here as well. BURNERPHONE (11) is heading the right way with her form, and gave a good kick when setting the pace as the favourite at Tauranga 2 weeks ago, before finishing third. An extra furlong is no problem, so stick with her and follow your money. ELECTRIC ANGEL (9) franked some handy trial form when finishing third on debut after racing handy throughout. She has a good gate, and the step up to a mile will suit her. Go again. ARTISSIMO (10) stuck to her task gamely last start when finishing third. Her first win is not far away.
