MOSINVADER (4) is ready now for a mile after a couple of really strong efforts over 6 ½f to start the season. He will soon be looking for more ground, but should be the one to beat third up in this. On top. KEEGAN (7) has needed all of his 3 starts since resuming from a spell, and finds a field that is lacking much depth of recent form. He has not missed a cheque in 3 starts on this track, and is poised to put his best hoof forward here. GIACOMO (9) drops back to a mile, and with the aid of a 9lbs claim, he can boot up to hold the lead from the pole position. If he gets into a nice rhythm, he could take them all the way. DODDLE (6) had no luck when being trapped wide with no cover in the Whanganui Cup 3 weeks ago. She likes it here, and from a superior gate, she is worth another chance. TRUST IN YOU (5) resumes from a spell at an easier level than he is used to. If his mind is on the job, then he might just have the last say. Don't risk him.
