THE SPANIARD (1) finished off strongly last start to grab third over 1 5/16m at Ellerslie, and he should again be suited by a genuinely run staying race. He is knocking on the door, and this does look like a nice race for him to break his maiden status. I'M QUINN (2) continues to race in consistent form and was a game second at Ellerslie over the same trip last time. He won't have to improve by much to go one better here. MODELO (4) got a long way back, and did have all the best luck when finishing eighth over 1m at Matamata last start, but he will be better suited to racing over 1 ¼m for the first time, and he should be allowed another chance. Each way. MORETOTHINKABOUT (5) stepped up to 1 5/16m third up from a spell, and ran on strongly late to finish second by a short-head at Ellerslie just over 2 weeks ago. Warren Kennedy sticks with him, and so do we.
