KAHULUI (2) was beaten by a nose on debut at Te Aroha before finishing a sound fifth here 2 weeks ago. He cops a wide gate, but will appreciate the extra ½f, and in a field with not much depth of form, he is the one to beat for ours. KALGARRY ALLY (10) put is a strong finishing effort for second by a nose here 2 weeks ago over 6f. She has been progressing nicely, and looks set to pick up her first win at short notice. LITTLE ORCHID (14) is also a promising filly with some upside. She fought on gamely for fourth in the same race as the top 2 picks when looking like the winner at one stage that day. She gets another chance to crack the top 3 in this. DRAGONSTONE (6) battled away gamely for sixth at Te Aroha nearly a fortnight ago, and her form has been near enough. Include in all top 4 combos. AIM UP (4) took another step forward when finishing fourth at Te Aroha last time out. His stable is running hot at the moment, and he is another with top 3 claims.
