DIAMOND JAK (1) had 3 starts at Ellerslie in good fields to open his campaign, then had a freshen up, which included a couple of trials, found the right race here on his preferred heavy ground and won by a nose, with the only surprise being the price he paid. This is not as hard, and with the weight to carry, he is set to repeat the dose. HEZA SHARP ONE (6) bounced back into winning form here a fortnight ago when getting up in the last stride to score by a nose. He looks set for a good season, and won't lack fitness. He carries 8lbs less, and should be right in the finish again. PERFECTMANZ (7) is proving to be hard to catch, but he should get the genuine tempo that he likes in this race, and he can figure in the top 4 at value. CHARLBURY (8) is also very hard to catch, but she can't be underestimated. Keep safe. FLY MY WEY (3) and ROSETOWN PRINCESS (4) are both top 4 chances again.
