HAIKU (9) came in for some late support fresh up here 12 days ago, and just battled on the heavy track, peaking late to finish sixth. She strips fitter, and if she can secure some cover from a wide draw, is more than capable of taking this out. ARTFUL DODGER (2) has been freshened up since producing a game run to finish runner-up here nearly 9 weeks ago on a heavy track. He benefits from a 4lbs claim, and is likely to be hitting the line hard in this. Each way. DRAGONSTONE (5) was third here in his penultimate start, and then disappointed when well in the market last time out at Te Aroha just over 3 weeks ago. He is worth another chance racing in this anticlockwise direction. RIP (6) has been given plenty of time to mature, and is ready for the races after winning the most recent of 3 trials this year. Use the market as your best guide. COMPULSORY (4) has had a couple of starts this season on the Cambridge poly track, and has placed in his only start here. Keep him safe.
