DJIBOUTI (9) backed up solid placed form when loomed on the turn from midfield and got home best at Te Aroha over 1 ?m last time. Will take beating over 1 ?m here. VICTOR TANGO (2) good efforts going up in trip each start this prep with a good late run for 2L 4th over 7f and same again over 1m last time. Big jump to 1 ?m here but looks like he'll get it. PURE BARS (5) led and fought back strongly for 1L 3rd to Sweet But Psycho over 1 5/16m last start. Place claims best here. THE TRENDSETTER (8) made ground from the rear when up to 1m last start at Ellerslie behind Excite. Has a win and placing on heavy and a win at 1 5/16m. ROCK ON OZZY (6) won a maiden high-weight over 1m on a heavy track 3 starts back. Led and faded last time on a good surface. Can improve in the wet here.
