LONG ISLAND (9) was only beaten by a nose at Ellerslie 2 weeks ago, and she is bred to relish the step up to a middle distance for the first time. She goes on top for us in this field. SATOMI (1) has turned a corner in his last couple of runs, and he benefits from a 4lbs claim this time. His stable has a good record when trekking their team to this course.
