GLANCE (4) won her debut over 7f in February and ran on strongly for 3rd in a G3 race in April. Nice quiet trial when not asked for anything recently. 6 ½f first-up looks ideal. OUR LURRINA (9) charged home to score when 1st-up last prep the led and went down fighting in a tough race at Matamata. Not asked for much in two nice trials. Ready for a big effort here. DIPLOMATIC (5) was taken back from the wide gate and sustained a long run to win at Hawera last time out on the heavy track. Niggly gate again but has claims on latest. STELLA MA BELLA (11) good runs in first two starts form on the pace then in the deep end for G2 and LR races over 1m and 1 ?m. Nice work late in latest trial. WISE CHOICE (3) good runs in first 3 starts then led but found the 7f a touch far last time. May pay to forgive.
