WITH A VENGEANCE (1) resumed as a gelding at Ellerslie nearly 3 weeks ago, began quickly, hugged the fence, and was too slick, leading all the way to score by nearly a length. This is no tougher, and he can repeat the dose. HIGH GOAL (3) made good progress as a juvenile, and is expected to improve again this season. He has not been seen at any public trials, which is a query for us, but he can still give this a big shake. SHALABIYA (5) has been freshened up since producing a game effort behind a smart type in the Northland Breeders Stakes at Ruakaka, finishing second nearly 6 weeks ago. She has trialled up well since then, and can figure in the top 4 again. STROMLINIEN (6) strips fitter second up, and must be kept safe in all top 4 combos.
