SENSE OF TIMING (7) improved quickly from a modest fresh-up run here to finish a game fourth at Otaki 7 weeks ago, and being from the leading stable, the gap between runs does not bother us. Michael McNab replaces an apprentice, and she is peaking at the right time, so stick with her. DRAMATIC MISS (8) will find this easier than her last couple of starts here, and she has not missed a cheque in 3 starts on a heavy surface. She is overdue to show some form. Each way value. LOTUS (3) has not won for some time, but the same can be said about a few in this field. She gets a handy swing in her draw for this and can bounce straight back into the money. SUPER WRAITH (9) was down in class and demolished his BM65 rivals at Whanganui 5 weeks ago. His confidence is up, and with 4lbs less to carry, he can't be taken lightly. WHAT A YARN (2) was not far away on the Cambridge poly track last start, and he has won 2 of his 4 starts this prep, including a fresh win on the turf. Stick with him.
