SENSE OF TIMING (7) fought on gamely for fourth when moving into the race nicely and peaking late at Otaki 4 weeks ago. She will be spot on with her fitness third up, and is the one to beat in this. ERIN GO BRAGH (4) needed his resuming run at Ellerslie when finishing sixth as the favourite, and then was beaten by a nose here a fortnight ago. He benefits from a 4lbs claim and is set to go one better here. RIBKRAKA (5) caught the eye with a big late finish for sixth here 2 weeks ago, and he will relish the extra 1f on offer here. With a big swing in his draw third up, he can figure in the top 3. RENOVATIONS (6) battled away gamely as the favourite when finishing third at Otaki 4 weeks ago, and she will continue to progress with more racing. A wide gate at this time of the day may not be a bad thing, and she is worth each-way consideration again. COSMOPOLITAN (14) is a promising filly who just got up in a tight go here nearly 3 weeks ago. A wide gate is no help, but stick with her.
