PASSION 'N' PRIDE (11) scored two trial wins before resuming with a game 2nd when handy throughout behind Bunker Hill last month. Take beating here. HAIKU (14) led from a wide gate and fought well for 3rd over 7f back in January. Fitter for two runs back from a spell last month when blowing out late. Peaking now. UNSWAYED (6) put in a game run on debut when dug up to stay handy and fought hard in August but was outsprinted last time. Extra trip may suit here. LOFTY MANUEL (10) won a 6f trial early last month & made ground from the tail when resuming at Te Rapa. Has claims despite the horror draw. ARTFUL DODGER (1) closed off last campaign with three sound efforts over this trip. May need a run but can't dismiss.
