TONIA'S DRAGON (7) has set the pace and only been run down late in her 2 starts this prep, and she usually hits her stride at this stage of her prep. She benefits from a 7lbs claim and has a good chance to break her course duck. PUROSANGUE (5) had excuses last time out at Te Rapa after winning his maiden very comfortably at Arawa Park before that.
