LEGALLY BINDING (1) has yet to run a bad race this season, and is back in the North Island after last racing at Riccarton 5 weeks ago. He benefits from a 4lbs claim and should be right in the finish again. KOSTA (5) trekked South after scoring a big win here near the end of October. A heavy track brought him undone at Riccarton last time out, and he can bounce back and take this out. LUCULLAN (9) needed his first 2 starts back from a spell, and then scored an impressive win at Whanganui 4 weeks ago. He had plenty left in hand that day, and can measure up in this as well. Each way. ONEIRA (12) has been freshened after a last start third at Tauranga. She has a suitable draw and has top 4 claims here.
