RYDERS LEGACY (2) ended his initial prep on a winning note when scoring easily on his home track at New Plymouth in January. He would have attended his local jump-outs, so he won't lack fitness, and he has the scope to take this out fresh. BLACK BETTY (8) has had a tune-up trial in preparation for her fresh-up run. Her only win came here, and depending on her condition in the yard, she is worth including in all top 4 combos. SILENT APPLAUSE (6) got back too far off a wide gate at Otaki 6 weeks ago, and has been given plenty of time to get over that run. She has a superior draw this time and can make amends. PALMAROW (5) never got into the race fresh up at Whanganui nearly 3 weeks ago, but will find this easier, and the extra 1f will suit her. Include in all combos to be safe. MY FERRARI (11) drops in class, and will not have any fitness concerns fourth up from a spell. Each way value for us.
